By Larry McMurtry: Lonesome Dove

Lonesome Dove - Larry McMurtry Here's the thing, I read this book over the course of a twelve hour flight to Hawaii, and I feel pretty confident that I would have enjoyed it much more if I had taken more time with it and allowed myself to live in its world while not in the air.

That being said, there are scenes from this book that I will never forget, and there's a way in which I remember them that feels more visual that literary, which I think of as a good thing.
