The Master and Margarita

The Master and Margarita - Mikhail Bulgakov, Diana Burgin, Katherine Tiernan O'Connor Let me begin by saying that I absolutely loved this book. For some reason (primarily relating to Easter Slavic naming customs), I can get inordinately lost and confused with Russian literature (I was fairly confident that Doctor Zhivago's notes let me in on a lot of the nuances that may have been lost in translation (or as a result of my historical and/or literary ignorance).

On a random note: I don't know that there's a huge overlap between [a:Mikhail Bulgakov|3873|Mikhail Bulgakov|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1260785501p2/3873.jpg] fans and South Park aficionados, but just in case, I will mention that I couldn't help but think that Satan's Super Sweet 16 in Hell on Earth 2006 seemed like a modernized version of Satan's Great Ball in the book. .
